Communication Survey Results

Posted on: August 11, 2015

Thanks to all who participated in our communications survey conducted at the end of the 2014-15 school year. The purpose of the survey was to gather input on our current district communications in order to improve our program. We received close to 1,000 responses and the feedback is helping us improve our communications efforts.

As an immediate response to suggestions from the survey, we have added new and improved school and district calendars on our website. Based on input on how parents like to receive informatoin, we are changing our monthly Eagle eNews to a bi-weekly format to make it a more concise and timely communication. Many parents commented on not liking the number of phone lines that get calls for weather delays/closings. We will be sending out a test message in September with a link to enable parents to modify their own settings so they can control what phone numbers get these snow delay notifications. Administrators are also looking at other improvements our communications plan based on feedback and will share these plans as the year progresses.
