Milford Junior Earns Perfect Score on ACT!

Posted on: April 5, 2016

Congratulations to Milford junior, Brendan Eveslage, who earned a PERFECT score of 36 on the ACT! Less than one-tenth of one percent of students who take the ACT earn the highest possible score of 36.

A letter from ACT stated, “Your achievement on the ACT is significant and rare. In the class of 2015, only 1,598 out of the 1.92 million students earned an ACT composite score of 36.”

Brendan took the ACT when it was administered to Milford’s entire junior class in March. It was the second time he has taken the ACT, and earned a 33 the first time.

At Milford High School, Brendan participates in Marching Band, Winter Drumline, Jazz Band, German Club, and Robotics. He is currently enrolled in three Advanced Placement (AP) classes and plans to take four AP classes next year. Brendan hopes to pursue a career in sound design for motion pictures.

“We are incredibly proud of Brendan’s outstanding accomplishment. To perform at the high school level takes accountability, integrity, and resilience—traits we strive to seen in all Milford High School students. On behalf of the Milford High School faculty, staff and administration, I commend Brendan for his incredible achievement,” MHS Principal, Josh Kauffman said.

Brendan credits part of his success to the preparation he has received in Milford Schools. He has been a Milford student since kindergarten. Brendan is the son of Sean and Tami Eveslage.
