Milford High School senior Kristen Dalrymple has just been named a finalist in the Duke Energy Difference Maker Awards. Kristen founded a student-run organization called Children for Change dedicated to making a big difference in the community. It is a charitable organization that empowers high school students to teach elementary level students how to be the future leaders of their communities. They do this through volunteering, lessons, and on-site training at our Milford elementary schools. Students have worked with many organizations around the Greater Cincinnati area, such as Over-The-Rhine Senior Center, Joseph House, Sem Haven Nursing Home and the Public Library of Cincinnati and Hamilton County.

Kristen is one of 17 youth and community honorees who will be recognized for their inspiring work and dedication at the 8th annual Difference Makers celebration on Saturday, February 6, at Cincinnati Museum Center.
