Milford Stock Market Team Takes 1st Place in State!

Congratulations to the following Milford High School students: Andrew Johnson (junior), Isaac Meinor (freshman) and Kameron Weaver (sophomore) for finishing FIRST PLACE among the 421 high school teams statewide who competed in the Spring Stock Market Game! The Stock Market Game offers students a chance to actively participate in the fundamental aspects of the stock market through an online simulation that builds investing skills.

The team started out with $100,000 to invest and within 10 weeks had increased their value to $150,744. Andrew, Isaac and Kameron have been invited to compete in the Portfolio Challenge on April 26, at the University of Cincinnati.The top two finishing teams at UC will travel to New York City to present their portfolios to the executives at Sachs, Lazard and Legg Mason.
