Posted on: September 29, 2015

Congratulations to Seipelt teacher, Mr. Ryan Hanna, and student Colin Sinner for being recognized by the Ohio Lottery All Star Program for September.

Mr. Hanna was named the Ohio Lottery Partners in Education Teacher of the Month honor.

"This honor is very much deserved! I appreciation all Mr. Hanna does for the Seipelt students and school community," shared Sarah Greb, Seipelt Elementary School, Principal.

Here is what was shared about Ryan's nomination: "Mr. Hanna exemplifies what teaching is all about! He provides dynamic lessons that are engaging, high-interest, and often student-led. Mr. Hanna’s passion for his content area of Reading/Language Arts trickles down to students. His students love attending his class and look forward to the opportunity to be immersed in whatever they are reading and writing about at the time. Mr. Hanna takes the time to get to know his students; the rapport and relationships he develops far exceeds the time he actually has his students in his class. He takes a vested interest in their future. We are pleased to recognize Mr. Ryan Hanna as an outstanding educator in the state of Ohio and are thankfully for his contributions in and out of the classroom."

Colin Sinner received the the Partners in Education Academic All Star Award, which recognizes K-12 students who have exhibited academic achievement, community involvement, citizenship, and leadership in and out of the classroom.

"Colin is a leader with a wonderful attitude. He is involved in many athletic teams and is an excellent “role model” for his classmates," said Seipelt teacher, Caleb Jones, who nominated Colin for the award. "Colin tries his best and challenges himself to achieve success both in and out of the classroom."
