Milford also received the Honors Chapter Distinction for accumulative GPA and community service efforts.

According to Milford’s Teaching Professions instructor, Jennifer Norsworthy, Milford is known in the Educators Rising world in two ways.

“First, anyone competing against us knows that we always bring our ‘A’ game. The other reason Milford is so widely known, and honestly, this is the most important part for me - is that the Milford Ed Rising Chapter is known for its kindness. Our students truly do want to live our classroom's motto - be the change you wish to see and leave your legacy everywhere you go,” Norsworthy said.
